CH 688 LLB - Ceramic-Hybrid, ABEC-5 Radial Bearing (C3 Clearance) - 8mm x 16mm x 5mm This ABEC-5, Ceramic-hybrid bearing features deep-groove design 52100 High-Carbon Chromium alloy races, with grade 5 Silicon-Nitride Ceramic balls, dual-lip labyrinth (LLB) seals to withstand the outside elements, and to contain the 90% fill Kluber NBU52 ultra-smooth and sticky, water-proof grease. Si3N4 ceramic balls reduce bearing wear and increase bearing life by eliminating steel on steel contact within the bearing. This radial bearing has been used as a pedal bearing and as a hub bearing on some full suspension designs though the MAX-type version of this bearing is better suited for pivot applications.. The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD15 with ceramic or stainless balls.
