Kevin "Benky" Benkenstein got married in December and had a honeymoon to plan, but couldn't imagine himself and his bride, Mikayla lying on a beach sipping cocktails. Instead he planned an 8 day bike-packing trip through Lesotho and the Drakensberg to show her the places he loved and some of the areas where she's always wanted to go.
In Mikayla's words "It was the best team-building camp ever!". Not only did they have the best seats in the house but the trip was the perfect opportunity to make sure they knew each other better than ever. And of course, they shared an experience that would stay with them forever.
#WeRide is not just a cool hashtag for the Benkensteins but a way of life. For them, it means sharing their passion for adventure and out-of-the-ordinary challenges.
The mighty Sani Pass at sun rise above and late afternoon below. Spectacular!
It literally feels as if you are breathing through a straw when you're riding at these altitudes.
Kev's honeymoon ride was a fully laden XL Santa Cruz Highball.
#WERIDE beats #WEDRIVE
