What began as a spur of the moment idea - to enjoy a holiday paced lap around Harkerville's Red Route - turned into a fantastic year-end celebration when 50+ riders joined Greg Minnaar and the Rush Sports crew for a relaxed pedal on one of South Africa's oldest and most enjoyable trail networks through Knysna's world renowned indigenous forests.

Vroom Vroom ... blink and you'll miss the GOAT as he pins it through the Red Route!
It was great to have Cape Townian Oscar Foulkes along for the ride. Having championed cancer two years ago, Foulkes is currently training for his second Cape Epic - a truly remarkable achievement - keep it up Oscar, we're super proud of you.
Mr Min's pimped out Hightower LT, a dream machine if ever there was one.
With our lap of the Red Route accomplished, it was time to celebrate the end of 2017.
From L to R: Knysna local legend Dean Lawson, Rush Sports' Executive Director Brandon Els, Greg Minnaar, Stuart Lightly, another local legend and Rush Sports' founder and MD Andre van Aarde making the most of the holiday atmosphere.
All smiles from the Rush Sports crew on holiday.
A trip to the Garden Route wouldn't be complete without popping in to visit our local dealers. It was great to catch up with the guys at Knysna's Ultimate Cycling and Knysna Cycle Works as well as share a beer with Kevin Evans and the team at The Bike Shop - Plett.
