Situated in the heart of Erasmuskloof, Pretoria, Wolwespruit MTB and Trail Park is a hidden gem that allows mountain bikers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life as they flow through the many twists and turns of the park's labyrinth of single-track.
The park's proximity to the 'burbs', makes it ideal for early morning and late afternoon rides during the week. We rolled in on a Friday morning at 6am sharp, just as the sun was cresting over the koppie ... conditions could not have been better!
Enjoy the vibe of #WERIDE Wolwespruit as captured by photographer Hayden Brown.
Sean Badenhorst heading out ...
James Marsh leading the pack!
The Pinner is never shy to get his front wheel off the ground!
What goes down, must come up ... Bernard from Torq Zone and Oli powering up and out from the Wolwespruit.
After a quick regroup at the top of the climb, there was only one thing left to do ... drop in and hook the downhill!
With a berm or two carved ... we headed for where every rational mountain biker would ... the coffee shop!
With the chariots parked, a quick hit of caffeine was the perfect end to what was a lekker pre-work jaunt through Wolwespruit's trail network.
If this looks like your kinda vibe, head to http://www.wolwespruit.co.za for more info. It's good to know that Trailwolf Cycles is situated at the trail head in case you need any spares or mechanical help.
So if you're in the Pretoria area do your self a favour and head through to Wolwespruit. You won't be disappointed.
Stay tuned to our social media channels (@rushsports) for news on upcoming #WERIDEs in your neck of the woods!
